1. Mind the Map! →

The London transport network not only inspired Harry Beck’s famous tube map, it has birthed a dazzling array of posters, designs and cartographic artwork for more than 100 years. Now a new exhibition, Mind the Map: Inspiring Art, Design and Cartography, at the London Transport Museum until 28 October, brings together the museum’s most remarkable artworks. Take a trip through some of the best examples

  2. The awesome fantastic ‘House of Lies’ app Seven developed for Showtime TV in the US has been nominated for an Emmy!

This is the promo clip we’ve produced to promote it’s nomination and gives you a good idea of the what the app contains (it’s still only available in the States until a UK network picks it up).

  3. Quantum Computing →

I am fascinated by this but don’t understand it. Can any one help?

  10. Guess which came first. A modern design phenomenon, the number of weekly New York mags ‘walking in the footsteps’ of Bloomberg BusinessWeek. New York Time Magazine is also guilty of this, which shows the massive impact BBW has had on magazine cover design.

  11. One thing I love about Rich Turley’s work on BBBW is how his covers effortlessly move from the insane to the classical without any dip in quality or impact. These 2 are great examples of that extreme, but the Obama issue is the one that really rocks my socks.

  12. Not very of the moment, but I was really impressed by the wave of magazine covers inspired by chanteuse-de-jeur Lana Del Rey. I haven’t seen so many covers inspired by a pop star since the heyday of Madonna, and the creativity is of a pretty high standard across the board.
